Juana Martínez

I build AI agents for one of the largest steelmakers in the Americas. I'm Juana, an AI Agent Engineer and Data Scientist at Grupo DEACERO. Over 20 years I've gone from .NET developer to data engineer to AI engineer, across banking, fintech, health and manufacturing. Today I design LLM-based agents and RAG systems for teams in a heavy-industry operation, a sector where most of the value is still untapped. I also co-direct the Health Data Science Program and take part in Iron Maidens, Grupo DEACERO's initiative for women in STEM. I teach, and I've built workshops on Python, machine learning and data engineering.
