Juan Camilo Cortés Robayo

Hi there, my full name is as stated above but most of the people in Australia just call me Juan or "One" as it sounds to me!

I am an international student from Bogotá, Colombia. Back in 2011 I lived one year in Victoria B.C., Canada, which was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. When I finished high school back home in 2013, I decided to study my bachelors degree in a country similar to Canada, but with a better weather.

So here I am, I chose Melbourne to study not precisely for its weather, but because of the great multicultural diversity that it has and all the events that it offers throughout the year. After living here for two years now, I realize that it's the vibe of the city and its people what really stands out.

I am a third year bachelor of Commerce student, and my majors are International Management, Interactive Marketing and Management. It's been a great ride so far but to be honest, I'm looking forward to put hands on experience and match the theory with the practice.

I worked for an Italian restaurant for two years, where I learned customer service skills, obviously a lot about the Italian culture and with that to speak Italian! (given that its not that different from Spanish). Now I work for a marketing company as a sales contractor, where I've find out some passion about sales sector.

I'm enthusiastic about learning from different cultures and languages. Big sports fan who swam, played soccer, tennis and like the fitness lifestyle. I'm highly competitive and I really want to perform at my best in everything I do. I'm a big dreamer who wants to achieve great things in life, and I believe the best way to do that is to start now!
