I have more than 10 years of experience as a canoe / kayak coach for regional teams in my country Colombia. Seven years ago, a friend and I founded “Kanotec” a company that imports sports equipment, basically kayaks and paddles. Usually our clients are government organizations. In april of 2016, I immigrated to the United States. I currently have a volunteer job as a kayaking coach here in Minneapolis.

I studied Sports Management. I am certified by the National Olympic Committee of Brazil and the International Canoeing Federation as Level 1 & 2 Canoe / Kayak Sprint Coach. I currently study Professional Development at Twin Cities Rise.

Some details regarding my experience are:

· Knowledge of strategized, implemented and evaluated training plans.

· Knowledge in management and development of sporting events.

· Ability to operate Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Applications.

· Ability to type 45 WPM.

· Fluent in Spanish, advanced in English.

· Strong Communications and customer services skills as proven sale and customer service roles with Government and private organizations.

· I am in good physical condition for activities that require long periods of standing, moving heavy objects weighing at least 40 pounds.

· I am a good problem solving. Recognize problems and generate alternative solutions.

· I am willing to learn. I want to expand my knowledge.

· I contribute to team efforts with ideas and fallow trough.
