I’m a humanitarian strategist and advocacy leader with more than 15 years of experience shaping protection-centered, rights-based responses for forcibly displaced populations in complex crisis settings across Latin America, the Caribbean, East Africa, and the Mediterranean.

My work focuses on ensuring that the realities communities experience are reflected in the decisions that affect their lives. I support organizations in making that connection by turning programme evidence and field insights into effective advocacy, stronger partnerships, and purposeful narratives that influence policy and drive action.

Over the years, I have led multi-country advocacy and strategic communications initiatives, supported institutional partnerships, and contributed to resource mobilization efforts. I have represented organizational priorities in global and multilateral spaces and authored more than 20 publications that have informed humanitarian policy and practice, working alongside partners such as AECID, the OAS, and DG ECHO.

My professional experience spans United Nations agencies (UNHCR, IOM), the EU Agency for Asylum (EUAA), the Red Cross Movement, and leading international NGOs such as Save the Children, the Danish Refugee Council, HIAS, and the Norwegian Refugee Council. It also extends to inter-agency coordination mechanisms, including the R4V Platform, REDLAC, and the Safe Spaces Network, where I have supported the design and implementation of emergency and protection programmes for affected populations.
