Humanitarian Professional in Europe
I’m a humanitarian strategist and advocacy leader with nearly 20 years of experience advancing protection-centered, rights-based responses for forcibly displaced populations across complex crisis-affected contexts, including Central America, East Africa, and the Mediterranean.
I bridge the gap between frontline realities and high-level policy influence. I specialize in helping organizations transform operational evidence and community needs into cohesive advocacy strategies, influential partnerships, and purposeful public narratives.
I’ve led multi-country advocacy and communications initiatives to raise awareness among diverse audiences and mobilize funding for emergency programmes; represented organizational priorities and interests in multilateral spaces; and authored more than 20 publications supporting humanitarian policy and practice in partnership with a broad range of stakeholders, including AECID, the OAS, and DG ECHO.
Over the course of my career, I've worked with and served as an advisor to United Nations agencies (UNHCR, IOM), the EU Agency for Asylum (EUAA), the Red Cross Movement, and leading international NGOs, such as Save the Children, the Danish Refugee Council, HIAS, and the Norwegian Refugee Council. My experience also extends to inter-agency coordination mechanisms such as the R4V Platform, REDLAC, and the Safe Spaces Network, where I’ve supported the design and implementation of emergency and protection programmes in forced displacement settings.
