I’m a humanitarian strategist and advocacy leader with more than 15 years of experience working with communities and partners across crisis responses in Latin America, the Caribbean, East Africa, and the Mediterranean.

My work focuses on ensuring that the realities communities experience are reflected in the decisions that affect their lives. I help organizations make that connection by turning programme evidence and field insights into advocacy strategies, stronger partnerships and purposeful narratives that influence policy and drive action.

Over the course of my career, I have led regional and multi-country advocacy and communications portfolios, shaping institutional positions, policy recommendations and engagement strategies on complex humanitarian issues for governments, donors and multilateral actors. I have represented organizations in regional and global spaces and authored more than 20 publications supporting humanitarian policy and practice, including work alongside AECID, the OAS, and DG ECHO.

My experience spans UN agencies, EU institutions, the Red Cross Movement and international NGOs, including UNHCR, IOM, UN-Habitat, the EU Agency for Asylum (EUAA), Save the Children, the Danish Refugee Council, HIAS, and the Norwegian Refugee Council. I have also held leadership and coordination roles within inter-agency mechanisms including R4V, REDLAC and the Safe Spaces Network, helping align organizations around protection response and advocacy priorities.
