I received a BA in Communications and have an MBA in Business. My career in the nonprofit sector began with Plan International, where I worked for two years assiting in implementing community development projects with the indigenous communities of Ecuador. For two and a half years, I worked as the IT & Web Manager at Greenpeace Argentina. I was in charge of developing and maintaining the website, and producing viral marketing on-line campaigns. In 2001 I founded the nonprofit Res Non Verba (RNV), together with Matias Laurenz. At RNV I was able to harness my passion for new technologies and use them to empower management and impact social enterprises. I worked almost seven years for Idealistas.org, a global network of more than one million users, which seeks to improve and facilitate connections between people who want to convert their good intentions into actions. I am currently working with SOS Children`s Villages, as their continental fund development and communication director for Latin America and Caribean. In recent years I have given many voluntary lectures, courses and workshops to nonprofits about using affordable technologies for the empowerment of internal and external communications, fundraising, developing community and improving their operations.
