Juan Jose has been involved in the equestrian industry for over 40 years. Initially studying Veterinarian Science and working closely with selecting, buying and selling sport horses he gained respect in the international Polo industry.

He set up his own equestrian operation, training and selling Polo ponies to world famous players. One of his tournament winning horses was presented as a gift to HRH Prince Charles.

Juan Jose studied dressage with famous Nuno Oliveira and worked with Bertalan de Nemethy and classical Dutch master Anthony Paalman to name but a few.

Juan Jose has been a prolific equestrian writer initially with Dressage & CT (USA) and then became the founder and editor of Sporthorse Journal in Australia which was later sold to Hennessy Corporation.

Today he continues to breed internationally recognised, high quality performance and sport horses at J-Bell Stud Farm in Australia. He is a pioneer in the development of innovative agricultural products and has founded Equusports International providing luxury goods to the equestrian industry.
