Juan Pablo Rivera

Currently a student in my fourth year at California State University, Bakersfield, persuing a major in History and a minor in Political Science. Solely as a historian my focus primarlily lies in Méxican history from independence to the present day. My historical intserests also include African and the Middle East, with a very strong unsderstanding of the histories of Madagascar and Ottoman Empire during the 19th century. Currently I'm seeking to increase my knowlegde of decolonization in Africa and the development of Africa and the Middle East over the course of the 20th century. As a writer my works include one story in progress, namely an alternate historical narrative on the Méxican War of Independence, with the eventual goal of reaching the modern day within the story.
