David Juarez

¡Hola!

David Juarez was born in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia (Spain). David grew up in New York City and as of 2011 lives in San Francisco, California. He earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from Manhattan College, with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in International Business.

While in college, David worked at a language school as a resident assistant. This opportunity allowed him to nurture his curiosity of cultures and encourage his ambition to travel. Growing up bilingual, in English and Spanish, his proficiency in Portuguese and Italian came with ease. His experience working in an ESL school encouraged conversational French and the ability to pick up on vocabulary in various other languages. The list of countries traveled continues to grow; some include a number of cities in: Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, France, Turkey and The United Arab Emirate. He has created a wealth of long lasting connections not limited by their boarders or distance.

During seven years, David worked as a legal assistant supporting the two founding partners of a New York City law firm specializing in criminal defense and personal injury. Since moving to San Francisco, he has worked as an administrator supporting two managing directors at a well regarded Executive Legal Recruiting Firm. David was also part of the Marketing Department team at an international litigation and business law firm, as well as a leading technology law firm in Silicon Valley.

In addition to his background in Legal and Marketing Research, David has maintained an avid interest in the Communications, Public Relations and Event Planning industries. From very young, he has had a curiosity in cultures, languages and people; interested in the interactions we have with each other and under different situations. This curiosity has sparked in him an interest to see, question and learn -- a kind of 'veni, vidi, vici'.
