A judge with the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, Megan Goldish has presided over Domestic Violence Court proceedings since 2014. This position involves hearing several domestic violence cases on a daily basis. Megan Goldish’s other responsibilities as a judge include conducting relevant research, writing legal orders, and reviewing records and motions as necessary.

Before her election to the bench, she practiced law as an attorney for approximately 17 years,, including a tenure as supervising attorney of the WINGS program. While working toward her juris doctor at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, she served with the Moot Court Committee and sat on the executive board of the Journal of International Law and Business.

Megan Goldish also has a long history of civic and charitable involvement with organizations that include Bright Star Community Outreach, the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, and the Illinois Holocaust Museum. She also served as president of the Junior Board of the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind.
