Judi Geizhals
Great Neck
“Creating a genuine connection with patients is my first goal of therapy. I am seen as warm, caring, and engaged. People come to me with unique struggles that can be very difficult to understand and handle. Providing a welcoming environment allows patients to feel cared for and comfortable expressing their feelings. I am deeply committed to supporting patients in overcoming challenges so they can move forward with a stronger sense of control, comfort and peace. Patients appreciate my well-rounded background in OT and Psychology, which enables me to explore a range of suggestions and solutions appropriate to their concerns.
“I am passionate about and work with my patients to achieve their goals. I see patients of all ages. My specialities are parent/child interactions, relationships, career decisions, school problems, health issues, mindfulness, and physical differences. I am a member of AIS/DSD and HEA support groups and the LBGTI community.
“My work with children and their parents includes feeding, sleeping, and toileting issues, problem solving, friendships, privacy, homework and injurious behaviors. My background allows me to understand both physical and emotional challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, cutting, depression, health concerns and physical differences.”
