Hello, my name is Judith Bloedoorn. I am from New Jersey however, currently reside in Atlanta, GA: one of the next best locations when it comes to music and entertainment. I was formally employed at Shiseido America Inc., a Japanese Cosmetic company, where I worked within the Research & Development Labs as a Jr. Development Specialist. I worked between the make-up, skin-care and stability labs. I thoroughly enjoyed this position, however, I felt the need to expand upon my creative abilities. Doing a bit of soul searching and analyzing what it was that Jude' was interested in and passionate about, I came about Full Sail University and the Entertainment Business degree. It peeked my interest because it offered and did not limit my need to cultivate and nurture all areas of what I wanted to learn about entertainment. Not having ever worked within the entertainment industry, aside from a temporary Production Assistant position assisting with the BET Sunday Best show, I have been finding it a difficult in where wanted to be exactly. It is important for me to make the right decision because I look forward to a position where I truly enjoy what I am doing. I believe sense of personal fulfillment in one’s workplace produces the best work. I believe I have built a strong foundation through this experience of obtaining my Entertainment Business degree. I have learned necessary skills in leadership, management, financial dealings that interlink business and home alike.I can say that I am confident I possess the ability to start and maintain a successful business. These skills will prove beneficial to any position and to any company in the entertainment industry or in any industry for that matter. Now that I am nearing the close of this degree’s completion, I have narrowed it down to film or music. I think I just may begin my journey in the exciting world of animated movies!
