Judith Álvarez García

Judith Álvarez García nace en 1987 en Valladolid, se forma con un bachillerato artístico en la misma ciudad, allí empiezan sus inquietudes por el libro-objeto y la escultura conceptual. Posteriormente realiza la licenciatura en bellas artes en la universidad de Salamanca, donde predominan sus intereses por la pintura, el diseño y las instalaciones. Durante esta etapa realiza un erasmus en la Accademia di belle arti di Brera en Milán en la cual adquiere otro punto de vista del la obra artística y conocimientos del idioma italiano. En su estancia en Italia, adquiere conocimientos de fotografía y nuevas tecnologías que empieza a incorporar en su obra. Para finalizar sus estudios realiza prácticas en los departamentos de investigación y educación, y comunicación y desarrollo del museo de arte contemporáneo español Patio Herreriano en Valladolid. En este lugar ya había realizado un taller de artista con Rogelio López Cuenca unos años antes.

Actualmente está cursando el Máster de Producción Artística en la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, centrándose en la experimentación artística profundizando en libros-objeto e instalaciones pero sin dejar de lado su parte más personal con la pintura, la fotografía y el grabado.

Judith Álvarez García has born at 1987 in Valladolid, Spain. She studied an art bachelor in same city, there began her curiosity for books-object and concept sculpture. Later she made fine arts degree at University of Salamanca, where she focuses her interest on painting, design and installation art. During this time, she received a scholarship to study in the Accademia di belle arti di Brera in Milano. Wherever she has become aware of art with another point of view and knowledge of Italian language. While she lived in Italia, she learned about photography and new technology what she started by introduce in her artwork. To conclude her studies, make a internship an investigation and education department, and communication and developed department at the museum of contemporary Spanish art Patio Herreriano in Valladolid. In this place, she has been taken a workshop with Rogelio Lopez Cuenca a few years ago.

Currently she is enrolled in Master of Art Production at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, she focuses in artistic experimentation researching on books-object and installations art but still keeping her most personal painting, photography and printmaking.
