I grew up in a big family of inventors and creatives, where solving engineering problems was part of regular dinner conversation. Figuring out how to make just about anything—and then making it—was part of the everyday. From homemade marshmallows (one of my projects, a disaster!), to a smokehouse made out of a garbage can (a success!), a beehive of activity and creativity.

My more than two decades in transformation and innovation consulting haven't been all that different. I've always had a love of creating experiences enabled through technology that delight and engage people, from the super functional to the purely fun. It's its own kind of magic, becoming more magical as technology and the connected world evolve.

And yoga? To truly create and innovate for the world you have to be present in it. Yoga is my way of slowing down time enough to see what's right in front of me. The future is all around us. We just have to look.
