Judith in progress

I was born in 1969, and in my youth I lived in many different places.

For the last 25 years I have lived in the Dutch city of Nijmegen and still enjoy my town very much.

I work at a university of applied science where I teach English and Dutch professional communication skills to Engineering students.

In my spare time I love to read, write, listen to music, meditate, daydream, walk and I am pretty unusual in that I don't have a television.

I love nature and am always trying to grow herbs and vegetables on my balcony, but don't seem to have any great talent for that, unfortunately.

My postings on wordpress represent my life, not just as it is now, but as it has grown over the years. That's why I chose the name Judithinprogress for my blog. I believe life is a continuous progress and think that perhaps it will be of some interest for others to read about mine. But I will let you be the judge of that!
