Judy Wang

Student, Volunteer, and Teacher in Canada

Hey there, I’m Judy.

I’m a student, part-time tutor, and avid volunteer living in Canada. I currently attend Iroquois Ridge High School as a Gifted Gr. 9 in the French Immersion program. When I'm not competing in debate tournaments with a religious fervor, I'm rehearsing with my band, sipping on bubble tea with my friends, or volunteering at a school event. In my spare time, you can find me enjoying nature walks or obsessing over interesting insects (or any insect).

I'm a co-chair of the HDSB Mental Health and Wellbeing Student Advisory Committeee, an executive for the IRHS Interact Club (a community service club under Rotary), and a member of the Student Senate Equity and Inclusion Subcommittee. I'm designated to captain the junior trivia team and co-president the IRHS Biology Club next year. Additionally, I was a speaker for TEDxIRHS and I recently started my own small band to perform at school events. I can speak English (highly proficient), Chinese (proficient), and French (proficient).
