Jugal has a multi-faceted interest across different industries and sectors of business, engineering, healthcare, science, and consumer technology. He gets to apply the knowledge from his varied interests as the co-founder of JJD Innovations, a design consultancy, and forward the vision of "good" transformation through the projects outcomes.
He, initially graduated with an honour’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and followed that with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. He is a strong believer in principles of design thinking, and its positive impact on application to any aspect of life. Currently, he is excited about open making and co-creation, process innovations, data science, and the technology-enabled future.
Jugal has lived in India, Singapore, UK, UAE and now resides in Australia, giving him international exposure, and the opportunity to interact and adapt to various cultures.
He is interested in utilising his skills in strategy, research, innovation, design and engineering on impactful work towards a healthier world.
