I think the most important thing to remember in life is to be happy and be with people who you love.
My first memory in school was in 1st grade. I was late on the very first day of school. The teacher made a joke about how Santa doesnt like people who are late, and my classmates were laughing. I was extremely embarrassed. However, As I got to know more about my teacher throughout the year, I learned that he was actually a nice and kind teacher.
The teacher who had the most influence on me was my 4th grade teacher. I came to Chicago from Korea in 4th grade, so I needed a lot of help from people around me. Luckily, my teacher was very kind and patient with me. I also loved my 6th grade teachers, Mrs. Chung and Mrs. Wong. They actually cared about their students and did their best to teach us.
My best friend in middle school is Dixin and Sunyoung. I also have some great friends from my church. I moved to 3 different elementaries so I rarely had a "best friend".
I never was a direct bully, but often I witnessed bullying. Most of the times, I filled out a bully form on Kennedy school website.
I have a dad who I think is the best dad in the world. He is the wisest one and the leader of our family. I also have a great mom, who is always there for me. She gave up her job to support us when we moved to United States. I have a younger brother, who is in 4th grade. I often fight with him. He is not the best brother, but he is okay.
Words of wisdom my parents wished to hear was to remember studying is not the only way you will success in life. They are important because nowadays, most people only focus on getting good grades.
I am someone who is very weird compared to others. For example, I am interested in moths and spiders. I learned that I don't seem weird on the outside, but weird on the core. Of course, weird in a good way.
Something I want to change about my personality is to be more friendly and social.
I learned that getting along with others requires effort, patience, interest, and respect. What I value the most about friendship is being always there for me to guide me to the right way.
My goal for the rest of the time in 7th grade is to do my best and have fun.
