JuJu Lotz
JuJu Lotz
“The girl with no fear,”
This name was given to Julia Lotz by choreographer, Tokyo, for her unwavering can-do attitude in the dance studio.
Born on July 16, 1996 in Pittsburgh, PA, Julia is a dancer, storyteller, and performer. Julia trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Acrobatics/Tumbling, and Hip Hop at Elite Dance by Damian in Warrendale, PA from age six to eighteen. During her time at the studio she accumulated many awards; including national first place and overall high score awards, multiple triple threat awards and scholarships through her hard work, dedication and commitment to training. Julia’s performance skills and style draw the eye of the audience. Adept at storytelling through her passion, technique, athleticism, and sensuality, Julia brings the choreography to life. Julia was also an ASH Assistant on the Artists Simply Human 2013-14 tour . She often takes many classes as an assistant, as she believes it is the best and most challenging form of training. In the studio she is the one to try the new move, trick or choreography with full abandon and commitment. Now attending Relativity School, majoring in commercial dance, Julia was once a soccer player at a time when dance was only for the “girly-girls.” When she was around thirteen years old, she realized just how challenging it was to really excel at dance; and she took the challenge. Now, years later, Julia is working on pursuing her dream to become a professional dancer and performer! In the process, she is hoping to raise appreciation for this physically and emotionally demanding art.
