After my studies I started my carreer with IBM as a systems analyst and joined after 2 years a well known swiss private banker. It was our goal to introduce electronic data processing with this company and we started with customer-file/ securities -file and a securities exchange application on an IBM 360-30 DOS.
After about 20 years developing different applications e.g. securities book keeping, swift, national and international payment systems and management positions as head edp department I finally switched to telecommunications.
In this position (head of the department) I was responible to introduce electronic PABX's (networked) within the company and electronic dealing systems (Unix based) and financial services in our dealing rooms and at the portfolios manager's desktops domestic and abroad.
