Jules Livingstone
Consultant in Sydney NSW, Australia
I have a life-long passion for learning, travel and nature. Each brings me an experience of freedom and expands the edges of my perception. Together they form the foundation of my mission: supporting people to see and understand the world in new ways.
On my personal journey, Improvisation has been an essential force in moving me beyond a cognitive and confined understanding of myself and the world, to making transformative shifts in my behaviour, life and work.
For me and my clients, applied improvisation works its magic in ways which are playful, effortless and inspiring. I have reached new levels of creativity, awareness and ways of relating that have a cascadingpositive impact. In my work I bring this combination of creativity, calmand collaboration to confront and resolve complex situations across the range of organisational and societal challenges.
Living and working in Australia, Holland, Belgium, China and Italy has made me passionate about deep communication; active listening and mindful speaking that focuses on the message and intent being conveyed – beyond words.
Effective communication ensures there are no secret barriers or fields of resistance to the flow of information, ideas and creative problem solving.
Learn Change Adapt
is my mantra for thriving in life and the foundation of the model I developed in my work:
*Advising senior leaders on strategy and implementation
*Creating frameworks and strategy for culture, technology and behaviour transformation
*Organisational and operational improvement
*Coaching, facilitating training and mentoring
*Change management
I support clients in reaching the mindset and obtaining the skills they need to be more aligned to their own strengths. This helps them to create a platform from which they can execute the demands of their work with assurance, confidence and a growth mindset.
I take delight in bringing information and insights from my many learning adventures into daily work and programs I create.
Some of the fields which excite me and where I am continuing to learn and apply new ways of working and supporting people:
Applied Improvisation, systems thinking and the Neuroscience of teams, motivation and learning.
I enjoy swimming, snowboarding, rowing and reading, anything to do with the Roman world and learning to sing. You can find me some where leafy, caressed by a breeze and the sound of the sea.
