"Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!” ― Dr. Seuss
As I write this I am thinking ‘where do I even start when it comes to a summary of my background’ but I think the real question is 'where do I want to go’. My father built military housing which brought us to Virginia. I moved up and down the east coast several years after high school but ended up coming back to Virginia. Along the way I have gained a lot of experience, I have met some great people, and made more memories than I could put in a book; and I am not done yet.
I started out in coffee shops and ended that career in 2000 when I moved to Georgia. I took time off but decided to go back to work in 2002 in the Retail industry. I made my way up to ladder to a front end supervisor and was responsible for all the cash registers in the store. At this time I broke into the Property Management industry as an Assistant Property Manager. I enjoyed it so much I took a job with the military division of our company in North Carolina.
I have now found myself back in Virginia and turning a new page; starting a new chapter. But as always, I plan on making this new chapter the best yet. I currently work as the Corporate Administrative Assistant for Tidewater Physical Therapy in the Tidewater area of Virginia. Tidewater is an upcoming leader in the physical therapy industry and is pioneering the way therapists interact with patients through innovative clinicians who bring ideas and powerful motivation to the table.
I have been fortunate enough to work with employees at every level of this company which has allowed me to experience many facets of how our company operates internally and externally. I have enjoyed it so much that I have begun exploring physical therapy and taking classes. My goal is to take my passion for sports therapy and mix it with my love for event planning and social media.
