My most recent series is a compilation of mixed media works that explore life's challenges and conquests. They illustrate my personal biography, but are left open to the viewer's own interpretation. Each piece is constructed using layers representing life's trials and tribulations. These layers are not always evident upon immediate viewing.

Texture, line, shape, color, point of view...all elements in my art are used to evoke an instinctual response from the viewer. My intention is to not lead the viewer down my path, but to allow them to personally connect to each piece on an individual level. This is the wonder of art's expressiveness.

Abstract painting allow me pure freedom when creating a piece. Each creation allows me to explore life's unexpected twists and turns, and use them as a constructive outlet for those experiences. My love of organic design and found materials find their way into these paintings. My intention is to pull the viewer in, allowing them each a unique experience with each creation.
