Library Assistant: Social Media at Oamaru Public Library, New Zealand.

Social media is my passion and one of the reasons I love my job so much. I love tweeting, scheduling Facebook statuses and editing blog posts; seeing our online audience grow; developing strategies to make our social media accounts the best they can be and networking with like minded people online. Oh, and I also have an unhealthy fascination with checking our statistics and insights.

In my spare time you’ll find me discovering new music, usually via Spotify, reading all kinds of books, spending way too much time online and travelling.

in 2015 I graduated from the LIANZA Kotuku Emerging Leaders programme.

I'm currently studying for my Bachelor of Arts: Communication and Information and Library Studies through the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.
