Julia Grace Gregoire

Toronto, Ontario

I'm a transplant from Halifax to Toronto working in the non profit sector. My areas of specialization include mental health, addictions, housing access and advocacy.

My passion is working with transitional aged youth, helping them bridge the gap between life in "care" to being an independent adult. I currently work with adults recovering from addiction issues. I currently volunteer with Mood Disorder Association of Ontario, and have volunteered in the past with Distress Centers of Toronto.

When I'm not trying to save the world I'm an avid consumer of superhero movies/shows, science fiction/fantasy movies, police and legal procedurals, documentaries on social issues, and podcasts of university courses. I am also way too attached to social media and obsessively keep up with local news and current affairs.

I also knit. A lot. It's not uncommon to see me knitting every spare moment I have.
