Julia Ledesma

Teacher. I helped Wingate University students improve their writing skills by guiding them through processes of planning, researching, writing, and revising academic papers.

Editor. I served as Wingate University's newspaper copy editor.

Facilitator.As an Academic Advisor in Montreat College's School of Professional and Adult Studies, I transitioned students into a rigorous program of full-time study through meetings in individual as well as group settings.

Bilingual.As the spouse of a non-native English speaker, I have a special understanding of English grammar above and beyond what my B.A. in English has provided. Learning a second language has enriched this knowledge as well.

Communicator.This aspiring nurse acknowledges that communication is vital to my own success, to patient care, and to the success of students of any trade.
