Julia Alden is an education administrator, currently working as an Associate School Inspector with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, UAE. Serving on the inspection team for independent schools, Julia works with over 150 schools in the UAE.
She has extensive experience throughout both Europe and Asia. Born in Illinois, Julia began her career in education by teaching in Dallas, Texas. Her worldly perspective urged her to expand her horizons though, and as a result, she has taught in Italy, England, Singapore, Nepal, Bangladesh and many other places. She is passionate about improving educational systems in the developing world.
Outside of the education world, Julia's passions include promoting internationalism both through education and in her day to day life, as well as philanthropy. Julia is involved in a number of philanthropic efforts, and feels that everyone rightly deserves a helping hand every now and again.
