I am a self-taught artist and always on the look-out to learn something new. Art, much like books, has always been a friend to me and I find contemplation, spiritual renewal, kindred spirits and joy in creativity. Art has brought me through some rough times while living in my car for two years, in Houston, Texas. It is a calling that is as strong and real as the beating of my heart. I'm currently exploring the realm of collage, acrylics, watercolor and photography.

I worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice until 2010, when I decided to transition to art full-time. My artwork has been published in FiberArts Magazine and in FiberArts Design Book IV. I am presently self-employed and honoring my calling in my second career as an artist.
