Industrial Psychologist, Founder, and Public Speaker in Belgium

Julia Beatrice Toussaint is a business psychologist who bridges customer success and product management, ensuring that Talentguide reflects the real-world needs of HR leaders. As Co-Founder and Chief Product & People Officer, she integrates AI and behavioral science to help organizations reduce bias, build inclusive talent strategies, and adopt data-driven approaches to workforce planning.

Beatrice earned her Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Ghent University (2018–2020), after specializing in behavioral sciences during her studies at Universitat Jaume I in Spain, where she graduated with an Honours Degree in Differential Psychology. Her academic work focused on the assessment of personality and intelligence domains, sparking her interest in human differences. She broadened this interest by studying unconscious bias in recruitment and selection, where she recognized that technology and AI could serve as key innovations to counter bias and strengthen data-driven HR practices and decision-making.

Her professional career began at Hudson (2019–2020), where she worked as a Research Development Consultant, leading research on unconscious bias in selection and developing HR tools. She then joined Miles Ahead, contributing to projects at the intersection of AI, machine learning, and HR. In 2022, she co-founded Talentguide, an AI-driven HR technology company that provides organizations with a dynamic skills intelligence platform to map current competencies, anticipate future needs, and support employee career development through personalized digital skills passports.

Beyond her entrepreneurial work, Beatrice is committed to mentorship and education. She has acted as a mentor and guest speaker at HoGent, Artevelde Hogeschool, KdG in Antwerp, ULB in Brussels, and within S.he goes digital at Agoria, a government-backed initiative to include more women in tech. She also serves on the board of Gentse Alumni Psychologie (GAP), which supports not only graduates but also current students by bridging academia and industry, and by showcasing innovations shaping the future of psychology and HR.

A sought-after keynote speaker, Beatrice regularly speaks at leading institutions and events on topics such as human bias, the future of work, and responsible AI in HR. With fluency in English, French, Dutch, Spanish, and Creole, she brings an international perspective to workforce transformation.
