Julia Beier

Hello, my name is Julia Beier.

I graduated with the A-Levels exam from Business School in June 2018. Since September 2018, I am studying Entrepreneurship and Management bilingually at FH Wien der WKW.

Recently, I finished my exchange semester in Spain (Mataró) at University of Technocampus where I studied for three months. My main goal was to further improve my English skills and also to develop on a personal and professional level - I had the opportunity to live by the sea while working on my knowledge and skillset for my future career.

Learning how to live in and work with a different culture, not speaking in your mother tongue and dealing with a completely new surrounding, taught me to be more open-minded, extroverted, organized and how to adjust to changes.

Prior to my exchange experience I have been working as an Accountant and Assistance to the Management for 9 months and as a Retail Sales Assistant in different shops for four years – always besides school and university.

As a consequence, I always had to manage studying and working simultaneously, which helped me develop organizational, stress and time management skills.

Moreover, I am keen on continuously educating myself in different areas since the world is changing rapidly. Especially, I am interested in economical and global connections, digitalization, entrepreneurship and innovation as well as sustainability and environmental protection.

Even though I don’t have enough professional experience by now to be an expert in a certain field, I am sure that I can add true value with my everlasting motivation to solve problems, learn new tasks, work hard with others and/or individually in order to achieve a goal, motivate myself or my colleagues when needed and communicate with people from different areas of the world.
