Julia Cozby
Southern New Mexico
I excel in web presence and marketing consultation for service-based businesses. I've been building web sites since 1998, and began building web sites for business owners in 2002. I started, built up, and sold a successful business in 2006 that included its companion web site which, at the time of sale, had increasing sales numbers every year. I was then contracted to manage a 3,000+ page web site for a regional law firm, helping the firm's marketing department through a complete redesign of the site in 2008.
I have managed offices that offer cultural resource and archaeological services. I specialize in technical editing, report production, proposal creation, and data coordination. I am well-versed in State of New Mexico forms and procdures for documentation of sites, buildings, and other places of a cultural and historical nature.
I am a co-founder of TerrestrialResearch.org, a nonprofit dedicated to using science as a basis for protection of the environment and archaeological sites. I am also the editor and owner of TrailDirt.com, a site about outdoor recreation. I play guitar and dobro in my spare time, and love to jam when I can.
Today, I use WordPress to create and build web sites; in the past, I have used Dreamweaver and Coffee Cup. For graphic creation and manipulation I like InDesign, PhotoShop, Flash, Gimp, Ink and CorelDraw. I also provide photography, editing, proofreading, and research services as I am approved by the state of New Mexico to log into their online database of cultural sites and reports.
