Julia Davidson
Julia Davidson
Graduating at the top of her Business Administration Diploma
program, Julia Davidson left the University of Victoria to attend Royal Roads
University for a Master of Global Management in 2011. After experience with
successful international organizations like BMW Group where she was approached
for the General Manager position and Toyota where she sold new vehicles, she
started advising at Lexus. Effective professional efforts granted the request
to prepare for the role of Lexus Service Manager.
While growing up in Victoria and excelling at the performing
arts, Julia was convinced that her destiny was a music career. With aspirations
of becoming a UN Ambassador, she was eager to perform at charitable events. During the time with BMW, she had the flexibility to pursue music and acting
endeavours. After being offered contracts from music executives in the US and
Canada, she was inconclusive in securing the right to release an album
exclusively written by her. Despite obtaining rewarding careers with BMW, Toyota
and Lexus, she revisited the idea of doing something of great value in a more
monumental way. This was the determining factor in leaving the automotive
industry for University studies.
Julia continues to have an interest in volunteering with
non-profit organizations. She also enjoys an abundance of activities including
running, hiking, swimming, singing, reading and attending the gym.
Excursions outside of Canada started at a young age and
consist of visits to France, Switzerland, Monaco, Australia, Eastern and
Western USA coastlines, and most recently a solo trip to Rome to trek for five
weeks through Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, and Albania before returning
from Istanbul.
Armed with knowledge from her Master's degree, Julia will be
bringing the international business concepts she learned and her passion as a Doer to making a difference in the world with the www.unitingtheworldfoundation.org . Here she is http://ca.linkedin.com/in/juliakdavidson
