A recent University of New Hampshire graduate of Communication, I will be embarking on the next stage of this Journalistic dream career at the University of Maryland - College Park in the summer of 2012. Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Boxing... let's be honest: sports as a whole are my passion. and I am driven to find deeper meanings of sport past scorelines. Political regimes, social class stratification, nationalism, women's rights -they are all intertwined with sports, and it is my mission to uncover those stories that do not necessarily make the papers every day.
