Julia Maree

Julia Hoffman was born in Fort Worth, Texas where she grew up in a musical family. Her grandmother taught her piano at the age of 5 and her grandfather inspired her interest in music. By the age of 13 Julia went to record her first album at Eagle Audio in Fort Worth, TX. By the age of 16 she released her second album that she produced and promoted completely DIY. At age 17 she was accepted to Berklee College of Music where she has since created over 150 songs and recorded at least half of these. Although her focus is in Songwriting she has had many successes with trombone. She is the trombonist for a popular Boston based Ska-Punk Band, A Guy Named Guy. She has recently been accepted to work closely with Kara DioGuardi in a “Hit Making” class at Berklee. Her successes do not outlive her want to help others, her love for music or her creative spirit.
