I am a graduate from the University of Michigan right after undergrad went on and to receive my masters at the Academy of Art University where I am studying Multi Media Communications for the past year and a half. At the academy of art I was a student athlete, the first athletic team to make history winning Division 2 athletics indoor and outdoor track and field. This leads me to say, I have currently moved to College Station, Texas where I am pursuing my professional career in track and field. I have a big heart and desire to see media grow and develop in healthy living and fitness. Which, being an athlete, working out, and telling others my story, has inspired me to be involved in the media. As a young girl running, I was an athlete who was put in the local newspapers for my accomplishments. I found my “wow factor” in being the interviewee, which triggered my want to become an interviewer for sports and entertainment. Journalism Broadcasting is very broad but I have narrowed my dream job down to the core. I see my career gearing towards being an on-camera talent interviewer for entertainment or sporting events out in the field. I have a passion for seeing my story broadcast through the media. I am a people’s person, I love and I am heavily involved with bettering my community and the younger generation. I enjoy cherishing the moments where I can take the time out to talk to people, most of the time I find out a lot more than what I initially assumed. Other people's stories can become inspiration and lessons to apply to our everyday lives. Along with being a peoples person, I can be very shy and reserved, however being shy and reserved has challenged but enhanced my character for a greater matter. Being able to go out and seek opportunities that most would shy away from. With my high volume out going personality, I would like to one day work for a media company working in there broadcasting media department that has a twist of working with the community to ensure our younger generation are influenced by positivity.
