Juliana Richards - A powerhouse mogul that has taken the shapewear industry by storm!

Coming from humble beginnings, in a short period of time Juliana has created a name for herself in the shapewear industry. Originally from West Africa, she was always surrounded by people with big dreams. Juliana’s business insight developed at a young age by watching her mother run her own factory. This work ethic was truly ingrained in her, as she started her own e-commerce business while in college.

The idea for 1800cinchers and Slim Girl Shapewear developed out of a need. Juliana said, “Shopping around, I never could find something that was firm enough to truly hold me in. Each girdle I tried on was either too soft or plain uncomfortable. So I dared to make something that had the kind of firmness I know most women wish they had.”

After a long journey of trial and error, she found the right fit, materials, and found her niche in the industry. From there, 1800cinchers was born. Over the years, 1800cinchers has been the e-commerce go-to for celebrities like Snooki, Carmen Electra, Khloe Kardashian and many more. It is a one-stop shop that carries all kinds of body shapers, including the Slim Girl Shapewear brand.

Since then Slim Girl Shapewear has expanded into a global brand, recently opening brick and mortar stores in Atlanta, Ga and Africa. Slim Girl Shapewear has corporate offices located in Georgia as well as a call service center in London, England, which services all of the European markets with their multilingual staff.
