HEALTH SCIENTIST SERVICE-ORIENTED, TECHNICALLY SAVVY

I am a life long learner with the unique ability to apply my expertise in the fields of science, health and technology to improve system efficiencies without compromising patient care. With a commitment to being of service, I studied Neuroscience and Physiology as a collegiate student. I have delved into scientific research in molecular, biochemical, oncology and immunological investigations. I continued my studies where I added an in depth understanding of pathology, physiology, anatomy, hematology, pharmacology of – knowledge that would prove vital in my clinician and scientist roles.

Along the way I began to recognize that simply acquiring the medical knowledge was not enough to provide outstanding patient care, I also had to acquire practical knowledge in balancing workflow efficiencies as well as had to learn and adapt to emerging technologies in order to thrive in deadline-driven, fast-paced, and high-pressure settings without compromising performance or quality of service. This was the catalyst for my acquisition of programming skills.

As a result of my strong medical background and technical skills, I am able to integrate data, information, and knowledge to support patients, nurses, scientists and other providers in their decision-making - in all roles and settings. With a broad understanding of the health care industry, I continue to develop my skills as a polished communicator with a collaborative spirit, compassionate demeanor, solid work ethic, and demonstrated interpersonal skills while maintaining a degree of high standards.
