Julian Boucher

Hello my name is Julian Boucher and I am a teacher at École secondaire catholique Trillium in Chapleau Ontario since September 2011. My qualifications are in transportation technologie, and I have parts 1 in the following additional qualifications; visual arts and religion.

I've worked in the transportation industry since the age of 16 thru Coop programs and then got my certificate of qualification as a truck and coach technician thru an apprenticeship program at the age of 21. A few years later, I saw an opportunity to become a technological teacher and decided to pursue this career. I got my certificate in technological education at the University of Ottawa in 2011. I've been teaching seven years now and have taught several different subjects including transportation technologie, design technologie, visual arts, religion and outdoors. Having to teach different courses is a reality in a small community so the willingness to constantly learn is an asset. For several years now I have been wanting to take this technological design course however time constraints did not permit it.
