Work in progress. Unfinished project. Something that constantly has more to be developed or added. These phrases describe myself and my way of approaching every opportunity that comes my way. Like a popular toy that starts with L and rhymes with “diego”, each and every project serves as building blocks of lessons for my music career and my life.

I see myself as someone persistently curious and always hungry for learning. My music journey started with me being just that, asking my father and my brothers how to play a G chord on our old, beat-up guitar. Before I entered the UST Conservatory, I was a volunteer at our local church where I learned to play multiple instruments, set-up up a basic sound system and especially, knew the importance of being prepared, being a good team player, and being a leader. Those lessons I bring with me every time I work.

I now play for artists such as iluna, SEFY and Jan Romina. I also do session work/reliever duties for other artists such as Jose at Melodiya, Patrick Lacambacal, Celedonio and Purples ’n Oranges, a band I also regularly gig with as their Sound Engineer and Photographer.

Learning is something I’m most passionate about. What’s a more better way of sharing my love for learning and music than teaching! When I’m not at shows, that’s where I am.

Musical Director. Session Musician. Mix, Master & Recording Engineer. FOH and Monitoring Engineer. Teacher. With the many shoes I have filled, what I’ve always been and will always be, is a learner.
