Jules is searching for a big picture/strategic role in digital, content, or social media inside a creative atmosphere with an interest in management after relocating back to the SF Bay Area. She has 10+ years of experience in strategy, leadership, marketing, partnerships, communications and publishing, including social media, email, website, display, mobile, SEM, SEO, content creation, content strategy, and front-end web dev skills at corporations, startups, nonprofits and privately held companies. Jules holds an M.S. degree in Publishing from a private university in NYC and an Executive Leadership Program certificate from the 4A's. She specializes in strategy, motivating others, and exceeding goals.
Jules recently served as the first staff liaison for the American Association of Advertising Agencies' (4A's) Social Media Committee. Brand-new initiatives included creating salary benchmarks for social media roles in ad agencies, along with forming social media metrics guidelines for the industry and conducting digital/social media consulting to agency leaders.
She headed most digital marketing efforts at the 4A's as the first-ever Digital Marketing Director, including the founding of its first media partnership program, to raise visibility and reach new audiences in the marketing/advertising industries involving the creation of high-level strategies with senior executives. Her contacts include relationships with Contagious, Adweek, PRNews, PRWeek, CampaignLive, AdAge, PSFK, Digiday, The Drum and many others. She reported directly to the CMO, and secured and managed an ad budget valued at $1+ million annually.
