Julia Rutter

I have received my bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Theatre Arts from Texas A&M University. I am a hard-worker, and give 110% in all that I do. This is in-part how I received the Black Tie Award for excellence in my organization MSC OPAS. This award is given to someone that is dedicated and strives to help the organization. I hold myself to a high standard, because I think that if a work is going out into the world it should be at its best.

I am a huge supporter of the arts, but that does not mean that I do not also appreciate the athletic world. I grew up participating in in various sports and plays/musicals which cultivated my love for both. Through my theatre experience in college I gained a love for working behind the scenes.

At Texas A&M University I was a part of several organization and theatrical productions (both on and off stage). During my time in the MSC Opera and Performing Arts Society I was in the Education Outreach Committee and a manager of Internal Relations. As well as winning the Black Tie Award for dedication. In Alpha Psi Omega I was elected as the head of the Banquet Committee. As the Fundraising Manager of an independent production of Dog Sees God I was able to organize profit shares to cover the cost of royalties, props, and venue.
