Julie Achtermeier

Julie's love of writing began at a young age. She has written poetry and short stories for as long as she can remember. As Julie later climbed the corporate ladder, she honed her editing and writing skills by creating detailed government RFPs (Request for Proposals), marketing materials, and press releases. In her free time, Julie nurtured her passion by studying Culinary Arts and Food Writing at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario.

Today, Julie combines her skills from the corporate world and talent in the food industry, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to all writing and editing assignments. She creates beautifully crafted humour stories, informative health articles and as an editor, has a natural ability to "write tight", bringing your message into clear focus.
