I always knew I'd be a mom--and there ended my deep well of parenting knowledge. Now, two little girls live in the house with Dad and Me, and they sometimes do this thing where they say "Mom" and appear to be addressing me. Sometimes, it seems impossible, but it turns out to be true: I am suddenly, joyfully and humorously the parent, just like I knew I would be one day. What I didn't know was... well, anything else. A blog seemed as good of a place as any to sort some of it out.
