Here I am, living in Auckland New Zealand. I am 45 years old (young!) and just about to farewell my teenage daughter as she leaves home to start a new, independent life of her own.
It's not like I didn't know this time was coming.... but now I am faced with many choices, some of them exciting and some of them daunting. I have been a single, working mother and my life (probably like yours) has been centred around the needs of my child.
It's time to look ahead to the next 45 years and ask "What's next, what do I really want to do now?"
