My mother often told me that my sister would become a salesperson and I was meant to be a writer or an athlete. Well, I was a writer, in college, and I was a tournament-playing athlete. And it was those skills--competitiveness and communication-- that helped me to become a very successful Retail Partnerships Executive over the course of my career. I now have a database of over 300 retail contacts from buyers, to marketing managers to C-level execs. I've had a midwestern upbringing but I've lived all over the U.S and I spent a year in boarding school outside Paris, France. (My French is conversational, but I am told my accent doesn't give me away as American.) I love to travel both professionally and personally, and making new connections that bring business partners together has been one of my strengths throughout my career. Now I want to help small businesses get their products on retail shelves and onto retail websites using the business and financial acumen as well as the deep list of contacts I have acquired. Let's get started.
