MY BACKGROUND:

COUNSELOR, COACH, MENTOR, or just JULIE. The name is what you call me. Who I am is a survivor, with an amazing, unique, and tragic story of personal traumas and human tragedy. I endured a life of abuse, neglect, and horrors, beginning in childhood. Adulthood brought domestic abuse, divorce, custody battles, co-parenting, and daily physical health challenges.

By combining my formal education, personal experiences, communication skills and faith, I eventually learned to take control of my life, emotions, and thoughts, and turn my victimization into victory.

I will walk with you through obstacles that are shadowing your best self. I will teach you new skills, and how to recognize the thoughts and situations that holds you back. Breaking old habits and thought patterns are the first step to claiming the life you desire.

Happiness is often blocked by obstacles. Whether something, someone, or a painful situation (past or present) holds you back... I genuinely understand... I have "been there and survived that"... pain, neglect, abuse, trauma, isolation, health issues, victimization, beaten physically and beaten-down emotionally. I came out of the darkest fear, hopelessness and helplessness.

After years of formal counseling, self-research and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, I am qualified to genuinely hear you. I will listen from a place of understanding, from a personal and professional level of having "been there, and survived that."
