Surfer in training with maker tendencies, a fierce guacamole habit and a barely-controlled shoe obsession. For my “day” job I get to design tools that help people do more and live more. I love getting people together and watching the great ideas fly. In my “real life” I love gaming or building a PC with my son and online trend-spotting with my daughter or simply sitting on the porch enjoying the world around me. Lucky for me the lines are blurred in this new tech world, so I get to do all of the above all the time.

While growing up in the tiny, rainy logging town of Maple Falls, WA, I dreamed of one day working for a computer company (before I even had a computer). Today Seattle is home and I’ve been exploring, creating and designing at Microsoft for more than 20 years.
