Julie Mazur

Hello my name is Julie Mazur and I am a 2013 Golden Apple Scholar majoring in Biology Secondary Education. I graduated Reavis High School and plan on teaching in a south suburban high school.

My goal as a teacher is to inspire students to be passionate about Biology as I am. There are so many aspects to Biology, from learning how the brain works to being able to enjoy nature through a forest bike ride. Nature is everywhere and my goal is to ispire students to be able to appreciate Biology not as a class but as a subject that can be enjoyed outside of the classroom.
