Julie Ngigi

I am a communication specialist. My career spans nine years of Audio visual production and management, Communication strategy formulation and execution, media buying and placement, planning and monitoring, project management, event management (Including outreach events) writing as well as social media communication management. The skills I have acquired have proven instrumental in the management of high quality communication projects for international and local clients.

I am well grounded in principles of communication and media that is backed by a solid network of specialists that include a large database of suppliers and consultants in the communication field such monitoring and evaluation of communication strategies, language translators (any Kenyan language), graphic designers, commercial printers and can form specialized teams as communication brief requires. Other Major competencies in my portfolio of skills are public speaking and presentation and budget negotiation.

Currently I am pursuing a master’s degree in Development Communication from Daystar, University with hopes of proceeding to PHD. Away from work and school I enjoy keeping fit through running and hiking, I also enjoy reading autobiographies and travelling.
