I'm curious. I voraciously read and write about issues that fascinate me. Writing allows me to synthesize and challenge my thoughts and interpretation of the world.

I am passionate about empowering people and communities through quality education programs.

To broaden my understanding of the form and function of education in society -- specifically, K-12 policy -- I actively engage the topic with class, volunteer, and work experiences.

My objective: to build an extensive repertoire of knowledge and skills now to enable postive contribution to positive school reform efforts in the future.
