Julie Sandburg

I’m a writer and photographer residing in South Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I’m a former Star Tribune communications intern, former editor of a high school literary/art magazine, zine publisher, and vagabond. I am a graduate of Arts High in literary art, and I have studied digital photography at MCAD. I am an INFP.

I’m into Jewish theology and philosophy in a traditional-egalitarian context (e.g. women rabbis and gay marriages), journalism (specifically new media), reproductive and mental health, hearing loss and surrounding technology, and various social sciences and humanities. I also enjoy wearing hoodies, drinking hot cocoa, and sleeping in late.

I’m from an Irish Catholic family, converting to Conservative Judaism. I don’t miss bacon as much as I thought I would.
